Weetag
A simple and basic application, Weetag, is available free on the internet for all the Weetag data loggers. It can be used to initiate a mission, download the data to export it as a text file and stop the mission.

iButton
Alpha Mach offers a complete software package, ThermoTrack, to
perform more complex work on the data. Professional looking graphs are
easily completed and printed. Data can be exported directly in Excel or
stored in personal folders. Several features make the missioning of the
iBTags much easier such as immediate calculations of the number of days
before memory is filled and start up date for delayed start.
In addition to ThermoTrack, two simple software packages can be
downloaded for free from the Internet. The software solutions are
presented below.
ThermoTrack
| Easy to use, ThermoTrack
provides access to all functionality of the iBTags. It has
user-friendly graph editing and printing, data processing and
can export the results in different forms. Its missioning window
will calculate interactively, the start date from the start
delay chosen and time to fill the memory from the sample rate. A small text can be entered inside the available text memory of the device. Its archival tools will assist in tracking all iBTags missioned to help in their management. A free distribution viewer is included in the package to allow colleagues to download the data from the iBTags in order to export it. |

OneWireViewer
This free software based on JAVA, can be downloaded from the Dallas
web site at: http://www.ibutton.com/software/1wire/OneWireViewer.html
It will allows missioning of all devices, download data, display a
simple temperature graph and export temperature data log in text form
for editing in Excel or other spreadsheet software. It doesn’t display
an histogram bar chart but the histogram data can be copied and pasted
in a text file.
OneWireViewer can be used with practically all types of iButtons made by
Dallas.

The OneWireViewer missioning window is accessible by clicking on the « Thermochron » Tab. One window includes all parameters to set. Take a special precaution to ensure that you clicked the box « Synchronize Real-Time Clock » to program the device with your PC clock (see ellipse over left side figure). |

iButton Viewer
This is the first software used by the iBTags. It supports the types
Z and G but not the type 22L. It will be replaced by OneWireViewer in
the future. However, it is very simple to use. It allows missioning,
download data, display simple temperature and histogram graphs and
export all available data in text form for editing in Excel or other
spreadsheet software.
It is self-explanatory and includes « Help » files. It can be downloaded
